Evergrande said that in the past three years and nine months, Hengchi Automobile did not forget its original intention and overcame many difficulties. Especially in the second half of last year, Hengchi Automobile encountered difficulties. All employees worked hard and never gave up, and walked out of the dark time step by step.

Hengchi 5 launched its first vehicle on December 30 last year, launched global pre-sale on July 6, and ordered more than 37000 vehicles in less than 15 days. It is officially mass produced today and will be delivered in October.

At the same time, it also said that it would accelerate the R&D and mass production of other models. Hengchi 6 would go offline at the end of this year and mass production in the first half of next year; Hengchi 7 will go offline in the first half of next year, and will be mass produced in the second half of next year. At the same time, the R&D progress of Hengchi 1 and Hengchi 3 will be accelerated.

In July this year, Hengchi 5 went on sale, with a total of one model launched at a price of 179000 yuan. Liu Yongzhuo, president of Hengchi New Energy Automobile Group, later said, "The market response is very good, better than expected. At present, Hengchi's big sale has become a foregone conclusion."

It is reported that the car is equipped with a 150 kW motor. It takes 7.8 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h, and it is equipped with Ningde era lithium iron phosphate battery. The rated power is 72.8 KWh, and the range is 602 km. In the fast charging mode, it takes only 28 minutes to charge the power from 30% to 80%.

Interestingly, just one month ago, it was reported that due to the poor debt situation of Evergrande Group, the production of Evergrande Automobile was also blocked simultaneously. Due to insufficient materials, Tianjin Plant would also be shut down.

In this regard, Liu Yongzhuo responded that it was a rumor, "At present, the production of Tianjin factory is normal, and the mass production of Hengchi 5 is advancing in an orderly way." Liu Yongzhuo said, "Our more than 1800 employees are fighting in the front line of Tianjin plant to ensure mass production in September this year and delivery in October."
