On September 13, 2022, Beijing Energy Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Energy International Holding Co., Ltd. and the People's Government of Zhengxiang White Banner, Inner Mongolia signed the "Framework Agreement on Industrial Investment Cooperation for the Project of Photovoltaic Sand Control Ecological Restoration and Rural Revitalization Industry Development Integration Base (Green Electricity to Beijing) in Zhengxiang White Banner".

According to the agreement, Beijing Energy International will actively participate in the planning, design and preliminary preparation of the "Green Power to Beijing" base project, invest, build and operate large-scale clean energy base projects in the mode of government building, enterprise bearing and complementary advantages, and help Beijing and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region achieve the "dual carbon" goal. The total planned investment scale of the project is 99 billion yuan, including 10GW of clean energy development capacity such as photovoltaic, wind power, solar thermal and energy storage, with an investment of about 50 billion yuan.

At the ceremony, Sui Xiaofeng, the deputy general manager of Beijing Energy Group, introduced the project of "Green Electricity to Beijing" base of Beijing Energy Group. He pointed out that in the context of the country accelerating the realization of the "double carbon" goal, green energy cooperation has become one of the important contents of Beijing Mongolia cooperation, which can better combine the green resource advantages of Inner Mongolia with the market advantages of Beijing.

As a wholly state-owned comprehensive energy enterprise in Beijing, Beijing Energy Group has the mission of ensuring the safety and supply of electric power and energy in the capital, and insists on taking the cooperation between Beijing and Mongolia as its own responsibility. After the project is connected to the grid, about 20 billion kWh of "green power" can be delivered to Beijing every year, which will promote the substitution of new energy in the capital and achieve the goal of carbon neutrality in advance. He said that the "Green Power to Beijing" base project, as an important content and effective carrier of Beijing Mongolia cooperation, and as a practical need to boost Beijing to take the lead in achieving the goal of carbon neutrality, is the "top priority" of Beijing Energy Group. Jingneng Group warmly welcomes friends from all walks of life to visit and negotiate, establish long-term friendly cooperative relations, discuss development together, and promote the early operation of the project.

The "Beijing Mongolia 100 Enterprise Sentiment" and the 2022 Beijing Mongolia Industry Connection Launching Ceremony, jointly held by the Rural Revitalization Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Beijing Municipal Support and Cooperation Office, aims to deepen the all-round and multi field cooperation between Beijing and Mongolia, graft the industrial chain of Inner Mongolia and the demand chain of Beijing, promote the extension, supplement and strengthening of the chain, promote the intensive and concentrated development of industries, help Inner Mongolia consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, and promote rural revitalization.
