On the morning of September 24, the strategic cooperation agreement between Anhui Fuyang Municipal Government and BYD Co., Ltd. On the same day, the Funan County Government and BYD Co., Ltd. signed an investment cooperation agreement in Funan Economic Development Zone, marking the settlement of BYD's new energy passenger vehicle parts project with a total investment of 10 billion yuan in Fuyang.

According to the agreement, BYD Ferdi will invest 10 billion yuan to build new energy passenger vehicle parts production lines in Funan Economic Development Zone, such as vehicle harness, precision engineering center, motor precision injection parts, wheel speed line, wheel hub bearing, seat cover, etc., which can provide parts for 1 million new energy vehicles every year. After the project is fully completed, it is estimated that the annual output value can reach 10 billion yuan and more than 10000 people will be employed.

"Fuyang has such comparative advantages as rich technicians, good regional transportation, perfect industrial supporting facilities, broad consumer market, and complete factor guarantee." Sun Zhengdong, secretary of Fuyang Municipal Party Committee, said that Fuyang will provide support for enterprises in terms of technician training, industry supporting, consumption guidance, cooperative research and development, and actively promote the two sides to carry out comprehensive cooperation in the development of new energy automobile industry cluster, so as to achieve mutual benefit and common development. At the same time, both sides agreed that there is great potential and broad prospects for cooperation.

On September 9, the project of Guangxi ASEAN Ferdi Battery 10GWh Hybrid Battery and 5GWh New Battery Production Base was started. The total investment of the project is about 8 billion yuan and the total land area is about 975 mu, mainly used for the research, development, production and manufacturing of battery cells, modules and other products.

According to the latest data, BYD sold 978795 new energy vehicles from January to August this year, a year-on-year increase of 267.31%. So far, BYD's cumulative sales of new energy vehicles have exceeded 2.4 million. From January to August, the total installed capacity of power battery and energy storage battery of BYD new energy vehicles was about 48.883 GWh.
