Today, China generates over 10 trillion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, accounting for one-third of the world's total. Of all electricity consumed, one in every three kilowatt-hours comes from wind, sun, and water.

At the "Shagohuang" new energy base, bulldozers are accelerating across the barren landscape. The once barren land has been transformed into a sea of ​​blue photovoltaics. Seven of the nine clean energy bases outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan are located in western China. If all the new photovoltaic panels installed nationwide over the past five years were laid out, they would cover 530,000 football fields. If all the new wind turbine blades were connected, their length would be equivalent to walking from China's easternmost to westernmost points and back.

Today, in central and western China, the cumulative grid-connected capacity of wind power and photovoltaic power has expanded to three times its original level; the cross-regional transmission of clean energy from west to east has increased by 70%, and green electricity from the west supports one-fifth of the electricity demand in the eastern and central regions.

Today, my country has built the world's largest and most complete new energy industry chain, and the "14th Five-Year Plan" goal of non-fossil energy consumption accounting for 20% has been completed as scheduled.
